PCDL is committed to diversity, equity, accessibilty and inclusion. The Portage County District Library welcomes and values all people, striving to provide an inclusive environment for patrons and staff. PCDL is responsive to the needs of the community, and seeks to dismantle barriers, while providing equitable access and services to all people, regardless of race, ethnicity, age, gender identity, religion, sexual orientation, ability or economic status.
Items & Services Available at some or all of our PCDL Branches:

Homebound Service
Available for patrons unable to visit the library due to pregnancy, disability or illness.
Sensory Kits
Aunt Flo & Egal Pads on a Roll
FREE period products are available in the public bathrooms at our Brimfield, Garrettsville and Streetsboro libraries.

Communication Boards
Our new communication boards are now available at every public service desk throughout the building. These augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools support patrons who do not speak or who communicate differently, giving everyone more ways to express their needs and feel welcome in our space.
