2 Brimfield Branch Update PCDL Staff Day 2023 October 9 PCDL All-Staff Day All of our PCDL staff attended our system-wide Staff Day in October! It was our first All-Staff Day in over 10 years. Staff members has the opportunity to connect, learn more about county services and collaborate to make awesome table centerpieces. Children’s Card PCDL Children’s Card Now Available! PCDL at OLC PCDL Staff attended OLC Books, books and more books! Our brand new Brimfield Branch is coming together! Take a sneak peek at these photos of staff putting brand new materials on the shelves, as well as setting up computers and technology. We are so excited to be back in Brimfield and will have more information regarding an opening day soon! Some of our PCDL Staff attended Ohio Library Council's conference in September! We had a great time meeting other Ohio library staff and learning more about the great resources that Ohio libraries have to offer. WE’LL BRING THE LIBRARY TO YOU – FREE OF CHARGE! Library Box @ NEW Center Library Express Home Delivery Available only to patrons unable to visit branch locations due to disability, mobility issues, or temporarily due to injury. Patrons will receive delivery of library materials to the home (available for all ages). A lending machine located inside: NEOMED's NEW Center 4209 State Route 44 Rootstown, OH 44272 Request materials by either calling any branch library or by requesting your own materials online at www.portagelibrary.org. Place a hold, select a Library Express location to pick-up your materials. The Little Seed Library will offer free fruit, vegetable, herb and flower seeds, as well as provide educational resources for home gardening, seed saving and food preservation. OUR MISSION BORROWING SEEDS No library card is required to access the collection. There is a short form to fill out each time seeds are removed or checked out from the collection. Users may checkout up to twenty (20) seed packets per household per yearly growing season, and no more than five (5) packets per person.
