How do I...?
Portage County District Library is beginning its phased reopening procedure. While it will be some time before we are able to operate in the way that our patrons are accustomed to, we are taking steps to make sure that when we do open our doors, we will be able to keep our communities and our staff safe.
While all of our physical locations are currently closed, the library's online services are open 24/7. To take a look at the resources you can access from home, please visit our Digital Library page.
If you are a Portage County District Library cardholder whose card may have expired, please let us know through our Contact Us page and we will work to restore any borrowing privileges that may have been suspended.
In accordance with Governor DeWine's extension of his "Stay at Home" Order, PCDL will remain closed until at least May 18. Since PCDL is now fine-free, overdue fines will not be an issue.
Also, SearchOhio and OhioLINK materials will be backdated so that fines do not accumulate on checked out materials during this unexpected closure.
You can expect continuing updates regarding this closure as more information develops.
