This presentation will cover what is driving shorter visits with doctors, how to be your own or someone else’s advocate, and how to have a productive and satisfying visit no matter who you see. Time will be provided for Q & A, along with a drawing for three advocacy kits.
Dr. Vermeersch is a Professor at Kent State University, College of Nursing, and practices medicine at AxessPointe Community Health Clinic in Kent, while being passionate about instructing others how to be the best advocate for themselves while at the doctor’s office.
